Yes. Billing, receipts, stock and reports all work offline, and everything is saved on the phone. The internet is only used to check a Pro subscription with Google Play and to look for app updates.
No. There is no sign-up. Enter your shop's name and currency and start selling.
Bluetooth thermal receipt printers that use ESC/POS commands, with 58 mm or 80 mm paper. Receipts print in English letters; product names in Urdu or Arabic don't print correctly yet.
No. The phone camera is the barcode scanner. A USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner also works, and products without a barcode can be found by name.
Each phone is its own till with its own data. A business that needs several tills managed from one place can contact us about the SmartPOS back office.
Your shop's data is stored only on the phone. Back up regularly and keep the file somewhere else, such as Google Drive. On a new phone, choose Restore from a backup. The privacy policy lists what the app stores.
